Collier Homestead Overlook
This beautiful and expansive river view is only a short hike on the altogether beautiful Collier Homestead Trail near Tylerbend in St. Joe. This overlook and trail as a whole are popular among tourists for its easy to moderate hiking conditions.
Devil’s Back Bone Overlook
This overlook is one of the most accessible as it’s just off Hwy 65 right outside of Marshall. Not only is its view gorgeous, but it also sits right next to the ever charming Rock n’ Java coffee shop. Sunsets here are something you don’t want to miss.
Grinder’s Ferry Overlook
This site is lesser known or visited by tourists as it isn’t classified officially by the park service but is rather more of a locally known area. As such, directions on exactly how to reach it without major indicators can be tricky, despite it being just a short drive from our store. With that, it’s best to ask one of our in-store staff members how to reach this specific overlook. Once you’ve located the entry point, however, the walk from there is short and simple and leads to a gorgeous and up close view of the Grinder’s Ferry Access. This is a particularly good stop to see one of a kind angles of the river.
Red Bluff Overlook
The Red Bluff Overlook is one that is particularly iconic to our area. This striking horseshoe type bend is found in the quaint yet captivating town of Gilbert, which offers not only this stunning river view but a few eclectic shops and rustically charming attractions.
